Greg Ticsay

Gregory Ticsay has worked at the Lake County Public Defender’s office since 1995. He worked in the misdemeanor and felony before being named the Chief of the Misdemeanor Trial division in 2007. He spent a decade in Veterans Court when it was formed in 2011. He was selected to serve as the Public Defender in 2024.

Mr. Ticsay received a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School, in Chicago, Illinois.
